There is nothing better than homemade meatballs.  My sister-in-law shared the family recipe with me.  Yeah baby!

  • 1 package of Meatloaf Mix
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 3 pieces White Bread
  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan and Pecorino Romano mix
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Put meatloaf mix, milk, bread, egg, parmesan and romano mix, salt and pepper in a medium-sized mixing bowl and mix thoroughly by hand. Roll meatballs to golf ball size or about 1 1/2 inches. Heat olive oil in a medium skillet on medium heat. Sprinkle the outside of the meatballs with the italian seasoning. Brown the meatballs turning them frequently for about 10 minutes.  Throw them in your spaghetti sauce or my recipe for Mom’s Sunday Gravy on low and let them cook until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Make sure you scrape the drippings from the pan into your sauce. Serve over your favorite pasta and enjoy!
