I know my letters!

It can be extremely difficult to teach a non verbal autistic child the letters of the alphabet, much less the sounds of each letter. In preparation for kindergarten next year, I was trying to teach my daughter the alphabet. My daughter got so frustrated she would cry and refuse to cooperate. My daughter’s occupational therapist and speech therapist recommended the Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD to help her learn her letters and sounds. After a few weeks of watching the video every day, she now knows A to Z! The first time she sat at her letter board in her room and recited every letter and sound, I was brought to tears as it was music to my ears! I highly recommend this video. It grabbed my daughter’s attention and made learning her alphabet fun!
