With Easter one month away, it’s time to plan for your holiday gathering! This is a simple recipe that is big on flavor and is easy to make. You can serve it with pita chips or crackers for your family and friends to enjoy.
- 1 lb Raw Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 3 Cloves Garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Lemon Zest, finely grated
- 2 Scallions, thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup Helman’s Mayonaise
- 3/4 cup Sour Cream
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Hot Sauce
- 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Once the butter is melted and starts to foam, add the shrimp and garlic. Season with salt and pepper and sauté until shrimp are cooked through. Remove the shrimp to a plate and allow them to cool. Once they are cool, place the shrimp in a food processor and pulse with lemon zest and scallions until chopped. In a large bowl, combine the mayonaise and sour cream and stir in the lemon juice, hot sauce and parsley. Stir in the shrimp mix and season with salt and pepper. Cover and chill for one hour.
